COLABNOWNOW

British Council Connect ZA, in partnership with Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival, has launched ColabNowNow, an exciting collaboration project opportunity for young artists, coders, architects and storytellers.

ColabNowNow is calling out for five digital storytellers, and 10 artists working in digital in Southern Africa, East Africa, West Africa and the UK to take part in the collaboration project in Johannesburg during the Fak’ugesi Festival, taking place from September 6 to 16, 2017.

Selected applicants for ColabNowNow will be working through a 10-day programme curated by Jepchumba, the founder and creative director of African Digital Art, to create innovative digital work that will be shown at the Fak’ugesi Block Party, as well as take part in the larger Fak’ugesi Festival programme. They will be provided with work space, a production budget and production support, as well as have their visa application, flights, accommodation and per diem costs covered.
