The KZNSA Gallery is a host venue for the
38th Durban International Film Festival which is running from July 18 to 22.
Tomorrow (July 18) at 18h00 the KZNSA will
host the screening of the film Goldblatt.
It is in English, Afrikaans and Sotho with English subtitles (81 minutes).
The film is a journey into the work of
foremost South African documentary photographer David Goldblatt, with
interviews from Nobel Laureate Nadine Gordimer and artist William Kentridge,
and a powerful score by New Yorker Qasim Naqvi. It’s a meditation on identity,
place, and longing, set within the complex, ever-shifting landscape of South
