Adelei Jade is singer, songwriter, actress
and solo artist from Durban. She will be singing at BBC Beats on August 7.
Jade is recognized for her powerful, dark,
rich and sturdy voice, which has a trademark vocal grit within its flawless
placement and superb vocal control. Her voice has been described as
"raspy" and "husky" and singing the right level of emotion ...
who can out-sing almost anyone. Her popularity is her inter action with her
audience's and Jade knows how to get her audiences on their feet and moving.
Jade does covers of Celine Dion, Janis
Joplin, Adele, Pink, Tina Turner, Bonnie Tyler, Sue Quatro, Joan Jett, Ac/Dc,
CCR, Elvis, Billy Joel etc. and also songs from her debut album Triple-555.
People can attend and play bowls from 16h00
(they also have floodlights) at the Berea Bowling Club. There will be members
in attendance to assist non bowlers. They also have bowls available.
