AMY WINEHOUSE AND “BEST FRIENDS”



Join Rhumbelow at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof as they pay tribute to a true musical prodigy, quirky, fun, raw and flawless singer/ songwriter /artist. Amy Winehouse would have been 34 on September 14.

The five-time Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, she recorded her debut Frank at age of 19. Being a rebellious someone, she sparked many enthusiasts in her journey which ultimately led to her end. She remains on the Great Hall of Fame.

Amy Winehouse and “Best Friends” is a show that will display how she influenced over artists such as Adele, Colbly Calait, Meghan Trainor and many more. The 8-piece powerhouse band will perform favourite feel-good songs and give audiences a moment of memory of a fallen musical genius doll.

Kerry Cherry (vocals), Mark Stewey Gokool (vocal feature), David Langley (piano), Logan Byrne (bass), Riley Giandhari (drums), and Nick Pitman (guitar) as well as the Heather Groove brass section.

Performances take place on September 2 at 20h00 and on September 3 at 14h00. (Venue opens 90 minutes before show for drinks) (NB: no alcohol or food may be brought on to the premises - for Restaurant reservations contact 031 764 7843) Secure parking is available.
