The
Tatham Art Gallery will host the first of a two-part walkabout, titled Early South African Studio Ceramics, tomorrow
(August 4) at 14h30. The second part will look at the historical context of the
works on August 18.
Led by
Kobie Venter, these events are part of a series being planned by the gallery in
Chief Albert Luthuli Street, Pietermaritzburg. Also on the cards is a talk on
Rorke’s Drift Ceramics by Prof Ian Calder on September 2 at 11h00.
Admission
is free and parking will be available in front of the gallery and in the garden
on the Church Street side of the gallery. For more information email
