A new play by Thandimpilo Projects titled The Darkest Corridor will represent a
fundraising event at the Hexagon Theatre in Pietermaritzburg tomorrow
(September 1)
The
Darkest Corridor is a show about a man called Fred
Williams who gets the death penalty after being found guilty of murdering his
stepfather. This story is set during the Apartheid era, and Fred decides to
blame the government for what has happened to him. Williams is, however,
fortunate enough to be granted an opportunity in the waiting corridors for
redemption, but he refuses to take his pastor's advice. After a twist in the
tale, does he find redemption?
The Darkest Corridor has one performance
tomorrow (September 1) at 19h30. Tickets R50 available at the box office.
