Boys Choir)
Baroque 2000 will be making music with the
world renowned Drakensberg Boys Choir on November 19 at 15h00 at the Church of
the Monastery Mariannhill. The choir will be conducted by Bernard Kruger.
The works to be performed are Vivaldi's
great and renowned Gloria in D major (the solo parts will be sung by members of
the choir), and choruses from Handel's Messiah.
To open the concert the orchestra will
present the same composer's Concerto Grosso op 3 no 4 in F.
Tickets R150 at the door and parking is
free and secure.
The programme will be repeated in the
Pietermaritzburg City Hall on November 30 at 19h30. Booking is preferred through
