The KZNSA Gallery’s annual local-only
Christmas Fair opens on November 16 at 17h30 for 18h00.
BUZZART17 offers original products for the
season. It’s the perfect way to avoid the malls, support local and pick up
teachers' gifts, Christmas gifts, art, decor and all those end of year treats.
The theme this year is Sea Change and sea /
beach / surf / harbour related products and art will be curated into an
installation in the Mezzanine Gallery.
There is a new wall in the works currently
being painted by Durban artists Kev Seven, CJ and Anathi 'CHAPTER-SIX'
Hadebe. Conceptualised by Kev Seven, he
and the artists set out to raise awareness about the pollution of our oceans,
with a pop-eye sailor cleaning the salty waters with his bare, muscular hands.
In an attempt to reduce the amount of plastic created, the KZNSA Gallery banned
all straws from the restaurant earlier this year.
BUZZART17 runs from November 16 to January
14, 2018. The KZNSA Gallery is situated at 166 Bulwer Road, Glenwood, in Durban.
