Melodies of a talented jazz guitar duo live
at Sound Café
Nick Pitman and Josh Swanson are the two guitarists
who will be cooling off the stage at Sound Café on November 17, 2017.
“The audience can expect instrumental
covers of prevalent Jazz blues as well as familiar and creative sounds”
promises the duo.
The two guitarists both currently study
music at KwaZulu-Natal University (UKZN) and have been playing together for two
years.
Nick Pitman has enrolled for a BMus degree
at UKZN. What began as a passion is now his profession. He has been playing
guitar for more than 10 years, during which time he has explored the rock,
blues and jazz genres. He was selected for the Standard Bank National Youth
Jazz Band 2016, received Deans Commendations each year for his BMus studies,
toured the country with artists such as Sibusiso Mashiloane and Vanessa Moodley
and played at the Oslo Jazz Festival in Norway in 2016. Josh Swanson is
guitarist from Durban who is relatively new on the music scene, but quickly
gaining lots of experience. He is also known as the guitarist of Victoria Raw.
Both guitarists are highly passionate in
music and are ready to travel entertaining audiences all over the country and
world with their good sounds of Jazz.
They will appear on November 17, 2017, from
19h00 till late at the Sound Café, Warne House, 5 Garlicke Drive in Ballito.
