(Cat Simoni)
Rhumbelow Theatre PMB’s Wine,
Woman & Song! is Cat Simoni's highly-personal salut! to all her
favourite wine-drenched composers and artists at the Rhumbelow Theatre in
Pietermaritzburg on February 25.
From a tipsy Johan Strauss' much-loved title song with new
lyrics, Johnny Mercer's haunting Days of
Wine and Roses and Nino Rota's sumptuous theme from The Godfather (Speak Softly
Love) to Amy Winehouse at full throttle (You Know I'm No Good), Chrissie Hynde (I'll Stand By You), Shania Twain (That Don't Impress Me Much), totally wrecked Marianne Faithfull (Ballad of Lucy Jordan) and Janis Joplin
(Take Another Little Piece of My Heart).
Hold on tight as Cat takes you on an emotional rollercoaster
ride ... in vino veritas!

Song! has performances on February
