Audiences who joined Rhumbelow Theatre for Stage by Stage with Jonathan Roxmouth
some four years ago, are in for a real treat. The world of Musical Theatre has
long been a source of great songs, catchy melodies and iconic characters. From
the twinkling lights of Broadway to the hallowed streets of London’s West End,
there are many songs to be sung and stories to be told.
Jonathan Roxmouth returns to Durban for a
brief season with An Evening with
Jonathan Roxmouth to be held at Rhumbelow Tina's in Kloof over the Easter period
from March 27 to April 2. He will share with audiences all the favourite songs
from the musicals.
The star of Jeeves & Wooster, A Handful of Keys, Call Me Lee, Sunset
Boulevard, Noël & Gertie, Topsy
Turvy, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, CATS, The Phantom of the Opera, Beauty
& The Beast, to name a few, and
more recently Che in Evita will be accompanied
by Durban pianist Evan Roberts.
An Evening
with Jonathan Roxmouth takes place from March 27 to
April 2 with performances on March 27, 28, 29 and 31 at 20h00. Shows on March
30 and April 1 and 2 at 14h00. (Theatre Venue opens 60 minutes before show for
drinks)
