INDIA INSTYLE SHOPPING FESTIVAL EXTENDED


Due to popular demand, the annual India Instyle Shopping Festval has been extended for a further week until April 22 at the Sahara Kingsmead Stadium. Celebrating its 12th year, the shopping extravaganza has everything from authentic Indian lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, culture and cuisine as local and international exhibitors display their wares and delight the senses.

India Instyle Shopping Festival has become an annual event that South African and African Indian communities have come to look forward to. It is a lifestyle, food and cultural experience exhibitors boasting the very best in international Indian clothing, cosmetic jewellery, silk carpets, homeware and more. You’ll find intricately detailed and exquisite saris, perfectly cut and styled Punjabis or even the bridal gown of your dreams.

Walk the lanes of “India”, taking in the sights and sounds of true Indian fashions and accessories.

An Indian shopping experience cannot go without traditional Indian cuisine, of which there will be plenty of options of tantalizing and flavourful foods and treats. South Indian Dishes and Indian Chinese at the refreshing restaurants, mouth-watering chicken tikka, vegetable curries, Bombay crush, mealies, Pani Puri, Bhel Puri and more.

There is something for the whole family. While shopping, youngsters will be entertained by free unlimited rides (bungee jumping, swings, trampoline park, fire engine, jumping castles) on April 21 and 22.

Entertainment includes live performances from local Durban artist, Keeran Eshwarlall; Joburg-based, Ryan the Illusionist and all the way from Rajasthan, India, the world-acclaimed, Harish the Magician and folk dancer Isu, flash entertainers and many more.
India Instyle Shopping Festival runs at Sahara Kingsmead Stadium (Kingsmead Way, Kingsmead, Durban) and is open to the public from 11h00 to 21h00 daily.
