she’s said yes! This weekend, His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales and
American humanitarian activist and actress Meghan Markle will tie the knot -
and M-Net is bringing you a piece of the regal affair with the HBO special, The Royal Wedding Live With Cord and Tish!
tomorrow (Saturday) May 19 at 21h00.
With coverage like no other, this special
features comedic duo Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon as their famously funny
broadcast characters Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan – legends of the industry
who have most recently “hosted” this year’s Rose Parade in the US. The veteran
TV pair will team up with their old friend Tim Meadows and special guests to
cover the wedding procession and festivities with their trademark dignity and
grace.
“This wedding is going to be a blast,” said
Cord Hosenbeck. There will be more luxury packed into that church than all the
Bed, Bath & Beyonds combined.”
“Every little girl dreams of growing up and
marrying a prince! Now I get to be front-row centre of this fairytale romance.
I'll be crying all day!” added Tish Cattigan.
Hosenbeck is a frequent television and
radio host dedicated to physical and mental wellness. He has authored more than
30 books on subjects ranging from diet to dressing for success. Cattigan, a
former Miss Arizona, has written books about relationships, co-dependency,
marriage and wellness. (Molly Shannon was also seen on M-Net 101’s Divorce season 2).
The
Royal Wedding Live With Cord And Tish! is executively
produced and written by Will Ferrell and Andrew Steele, alongside producer
Molly Shannon. Funny Or Die’s Mike
Farah and show runner Bellamie Blackstone are also executive producers.
