A fun musical afternoon with entertainment presented by Barry Thomson and The Reals will take place at Glenwood Boys High School on June 24, 2018. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Umbilo Rhumbelow Theatre renovations.

This show is a double feature, celebrating Rhumbelow Theatre’s 17th year operating at the Rhumbelow Moth Hall in Durban, and to assist with the renovation and re-installation of the theatre equipment, ensuring a brand new revitalised theatre to start its 18th year.

This show features Barry Thomson on guitar/vocals, Dawn Selby (Musical Director) on keyboards/vocals, Jason Andrew on bass guitar/vocals and Mali Sewell on drums and percussion. The programme will feature some of the artists who have performed in Rhumbelow shows over the past few years.

The show will include the all-time favourites and hit songs from The Reals’ most popular tribute shows of 2017 & 2018. Expect Music from Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Poetry in Music and many more hit songs from The Reals top shows.

Please note that the venue will be theatre style seating (no tables). Seating is unreserved. Bring your own drinks, glasses, snacks etc. GHS Band will be selling chips, cool drinks, sweets, tea and coffee. There is a grassed area outside the hall to picnic if you want to bring a blanket.
