THE ROYAL SYMPHONY CONCERT

(Naum Rousine)

The World Most Beautiful Music comes to The Royal Show in Pietermaritzburg this year when local audiences are to be treated to a magical compilation of timeless, emotionally stirring classics.

Take this opportunity to unwind, sit-back and relax while listening to the rich tapestry of emotions under a sparkling blue African sky - a performance is not to be missed.

The Royal Symphony Concert, now in its seventh year, is presented by The Royal Show in association with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and Music Revival. Conducted by Naum Rousine, the concert will feature soloists Federico Freschi (baritone) and Myfanwy Price (oboe).

The programme is introduced by Andy Capostagno. Well-known as Super Sport commentator on everything from rugby to netball, Capostagno has a secret love for the classics and all things relating to musical trivia.

The World’s Most Beautiful Music takes place from 10h00 on May 27, 2018, on the Great Stage of The Main Arena of the Royal Show Grounds in Pietermaritzburg. Extensive seating will be provided in the Main Arena and on the Grandstands. It is recommended that hats and/or umbrellas are included in your ‘bring alongs’ should it be a warm day.

The concert has been made possible with support from First National Bank, The Witness and Coca-Cola.
