Following the Hexagon Dive’s enormously
popular show That’s All Folk which
sold out for three seasons in 2017, they now offer a sequel! That’s All Folk 2, Son of That’s All Folk,
That’s All Folk – Judgement Day? Whatever you want to call it, it’s filled
with more fantastic songs!
The show runs from July 13 to 21 at the Hexagon
Dive on the UKZN Pietermaritzburg campus.
The great songs of the 60’s and 70’s Folk
Revival are brought back to life accompanied by master guitarists, Daniel
Rossouw and Ryan Calder. Singers Erin Fourie, Katherine McClelland, Sandra
Styles and Tammy Calder join the two in an evening of nostalgia and fun, as
they revisit more songs made famous by people such as Simon and Garfunkel, John
Denver, Donovan, Carole King, Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Janis Joplin, The
Beatles, and even Elvis! Devised and directed by Peter Mitchell, the show
brings the best of the era’s music to vibrant life once again.
That’s More Folk has performances on July 13
and 14 and again on July 19 and 21 at the Hexagon Dive at 19h00 for 19h30.
These are picnic evenings – bring your food, but no drinks as there is a cash
