HOCUS POCUS

(Brendon Peel)

Young or old, everyone can connect with the magic Brendon Peel creates on stage. Join this mentalist and magician in Hocus Pocus, a journey through the mind at Rhumbelow Tina's in Kloof.

Peel has performed across South Africa and international and is looking forward to wowing audiences on the East Coast with his unique brand of magic and mentalism - Hocus Pocus is a show filled with hard-hitting mentalism and mind-reading routines as well as more traditional magic tricks as Peel guides the audience through a variety of illusions and feats all blended together with a fun-loving and humorous approach.

Born to be an entertainer, and with a strong theatrical background, Peel says you can call him a magician, a mentalist or an illusionist. “I am what is known as a mentalist, which is basically a magician who focuses in on performing magic of the mind,” he explains.

“Designing shows that incorporate effects or illusions that have never been seen before really excites me,” he continues. “In magic it is beautiful when you can suspend someone’s reality even if it is for just a fleeting moment.”

Named by critics as one of the top performers in his field, Peel is guaranteed to engage, entertain and blow the minds of everyone in the audience with a show which is fun and engaging for the whole family – the perfect night out.

Hocus Pocus has performances on September 12 and 13 at 20h00. (The theatre venue opens 60 minutes before show for drinks)
