HORROR STORY FOR WTC

Westville Theatre Club is presenting its September production: Horror Story written by Canadian playwright, Greg MacArthur and directed by Daniel Oosthuizen who has successfully directed numerous productions in the past, including WTC’s soldout success, UnPlugged the Musical in 2017.

The story tells a tale of two young boys’ obsession with horror movies, but more specifically a controversial movie Blood Screams, to the point where the obsession becomes a horror in itself. The storyline promises to create a mental and psychological rollercoaster. It’s fast-paced, yet brilliantly timed to push you right over the edge.

“Horror Story will be a unique and new experience for all WTC patrons, as we have decided to break away from our usual ‘supper  theatre’ experience, by bringing in the audience right up and close to the story. This is old-school, classic theatre at its finest,” says a WTC spokesperson.

Each show will accommodate only 40 seats, strategically placed around the actors and story. This is definitely not for the fainthearted, and there is an age restriction of PG13VL.

Patrons are requested to arrive 30mins before the show starts, to experience the visual showcase of all the classic horror cult movies of our lifetime. The cast comprises new members Daniel Thomas and Banele Khomo.Tickets R100 which includes old-style popcorn and a glass of wine.

Show dates are September 21 and 22 and again on September 28 and 29, 2018. Doors open at 19h00 for 19h30, to be seated at 19h50 for the start of the show at 20h00.

Note: no entrance will be allowed during the first scene. Don’t miss this very exciting, unconventional production! Book now, to avoid disappointment through Daniel by phone/Whatsapp 060 376 8852, or sending a direct message on the Facebook group or via email: fppe.za@gmai.com
