Durban gals Leigh Meyer, Marion Loudon,
Jemma Kate Badenhorst and Camilla Rogers are all well known for their
individual work as vocalists, actresses and dancers. They have recently teamed
up combining their talents for their first collaboration in The Foxy 4 which can be seen at The Allan Wilson Shellhole this Sunday
(October 28, 2018)
These four gorgeous girls turn up the heat
with this fast-paced look at all their favourite women in music, from Christina
Aguilera, Beyoncé and Adele, the Supremes, Marilyn Monroe and Carole King.
Its cheeky, it’s fun, and with stylish
choreography and stunning costumes these Foxy females are sure to have you up
on your feet as they belt out hits from Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Gloria Estefan,
Cilla Black as well as a nod to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin who recently
passed away.
This fun cabaret is a powerhouse of talent,
join svelte Jemma (recently seen in the Rockwood Theatres That 80s Show’), the sassy Marion, the spunky Camilla and the ever so
gorgeous Leigh (all three most recently seen in Kickstart’s production of the
musical Camelot), celebrating the
music that inspired all of them to become performers. Get ready to rock as
these ladies let their hair down and pay tribute to some of the world’s
legendary divas of the music industry. A rollercoaster of hits from the 1950’s
to the present day is sure to appeal to all ages.
Presented by Rhumbelow Theatre there will
be one performance on October 28 at 14h00. (Venue opens 60 minutes before show
for drinks). Tickets R150 (R130 pensioners, students & block bookings of 8
or more). Bring food picnic baskets and a bar is available (no alcohol may be
brought on to the premises). There is limited secure parking.
