Sarkar is a blockbuster Tamil action drama movie directed by AR Murugadoss
and Vijay and Keerthi Suresh in the lead roles.
Vijay plays Sundar the CEO of the world's
top company with the reputation of ruthlessly wiping off rival businesses one
after another. When he comes home to Chennai to fulfil his voting duties, he is
shocked to find that his vote has already been cast. He goes to court earning
the wrath of the would-be Chief Minister (Pazha Karuppaiah) and his deputy
(Radha Ravi). Situations escalate to the level of the elections getting cancelled
and the hero contesting the re-election against the vengeful veteran leaders. What
happens next forms the rest of the screenplay.
The film is produced by the prestigious Sun
Pictures. The music and background score composed by AR Rahman.
Released for the Diwali Festive season, the
movie is directed by Pa Ranjith and stars Vijay, Keerthi Suresh, Varalaxmi,
Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi.
The movie is running in Durban until November
15, 2018, at Cinecentre at Suncoast at 09h30, 13h00, 16h45 and 20h15. It is
