Durban gals Leigh Meyer, Marion Loudon,
Jemma Kate Badenhorst and Camilla Rogers are all well known for their
individual work as vocalists, actresses and dancers. They have recently teamed
up and combining their talents for their first collaboration in The Foxy 4 which will run from November
28 to December 9, 2018, at Tina’s Hotel in Kloof.
These four gorgeous girls turn up the heat
with this fast paced look at all their favourite women in music, from Christina
Aguilera, Beyoncé and Adele, the Supremes, Marilyn Monroe and Carole King.
Its cheeky, it’s fun, and with stylish
choreography and stunning costumes these Foxy females are sure to the audience
up on their feet as they belt out hits from, Nelly Furtado, Rihanna, Gloria
Estefan, Cilla Black as well as a nod to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin,
who recently passed away.
This fun cabaret is a powerhouse of talent,
join svelte Jemma (recently seen in the Rockwood Theatre’s That 80s Show), the sassy Marion, the spunky Camilla and the ever
so gorgeous Leigh (all three most recently seen in KickstArt’s production of
the musical Camelot), celebrating the
music that inspired all of them to become performers. Get ready to rock as
these ladies let their hair down and pay tribute to some of the world’s
legendary divas of the music industry. A rollercoaster of hits from the 1950’s
to the present day is sure to appeal to all ages.
Performances take place from November 28 to
December 9 with shows Wednesday to Saturday at 20h00 and on Sunday at 14h00.
(The show on December 8 is sold out). The theatre venue opens 90 minutes before
show for drinks.
Tickets R150 (R130 pensioners and FHSSC
