Barry Thomson, Dawn Selby, Andy Turrell,
Adrian Wilson and Marion Loudon will present Christmas Crackers for only eight
performances of fun music and entertainment at the Umbilo Rhumbelow Theatre.
This show features Thomson on
guitar/vocals, Selby (Musical Director) on keyboards/vocals, Turrell on bass
guitar and Wilson on drums and percussion. The vivacious Loudon will be joining
the band on vocals and percussion.
“Following our crowd pleasing formula, our
festive fare includes some jolly Christmas sing-a-long favourites and hit songs
from Barry’s and The Reals most popular tribute shows of 2018, including
Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, Bad Company, Neil Diamond and British Invasion,”
says Thomson.
Performances take place from December 14 to
23 with shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 20h00 and on Sundays at 14h00. On
Mondays, December 17 and 24 there will be shows at 14h00. (Venue opens 60
minutes before show for drinks)
Tickets R150 (R130 pensioners, students
with a valid student card and tables of eight or more). Family Pack Pricing
(R300 for two adults and two children free). Discounts apply 1st week ONLY.
Take along food picnic baskets. Braais will
be available. There is limited secure parking and booking is essential. A cash
bar is available (no alcohol may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow
Durban is situated at 42 Cunningham Road off Bartle Road in Umbilo.
