ADHD

(Aaron McIlroy)

Join Aaron McIlroy as he embarks on a wild and whacky journey into the fantastical world of learning disorders! Following the hit debut run of ADHD on the 2018 National Arts Festival Fringe, Aaron is set to take his home base audience by storm with his latest one-man comedy riot! This runs at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from February 20 to March 10 2019.

Produced by MacBob Productions, this hilarious take on the ‘problems’ of ADHD and other ‘disturbing behavioural patterns’ is charmingly portrayed by South Africa’s master of character comedy. Facts and theories are turned on their heads –literally! - we get a bird’s eye view into the chaotic and beautiful mind of Aaron McIlroy, who has lived with this ‘gift’ for the last half century.

Quips Aaron about his new show: “If not exactly autobiographical, I certainly have inside information!” The veteran comic’s hugely popular brand of humour has spiced up the theatre scene over several decades.

Billed as a comedic steamroller without GPS, ADHD is scripted by Aaron McIlroy and Patrick Kenny, and directed by Kenny.

ADHD runs at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on UKZN’s Durban campus from February 20 to March 10, 2019 with shows from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 19h30 and on Sundays at 15h00. Tickets R150 booked through Computicket on 0861 915 8000 or online at www.computicket.com
