The SASAD (South African Society for the
Advancement of Dancing) will present a fundraiser on May 18 for Dancers Love
Dogs. Dancers Love Dogs is committed to supporting animals in need of
sterilization and the aim is to raise funds for mass sterilization of pets in
rural areas.
SASAD was established in 1961 by a small
group of teachers who were dedicated to advancing dance within KwaZulu-Natal.
It is a non-profit making organisation that has many qualified teacher members
throughout South Africa.
The show takes place on May 18 at 15h00 in
the Playhouse Opera. Tickets R160 with all proceeds going to Dancers Love Dogs.
