presents the 2nd edition of Fashion meets
Jazz which will take place on April 5, 2019, at the Olympus dance and
nightclub in Durban.
The 1st edition of Fashion meets Jazz took
place last year November 16 at the Bat Centre. The line-up includes the likes of
Chloe Clark rendering a 45 minute Jazz performance and an Up Coming Streetwear
Designer, Mandisi Dladla of Broke clothing, two guest Durban designers Thobeka
Vilakazi of Inkosazana Clothing and Scelo Ngcobo of Ds Clothing.
Fashion
meets Jazz is a lifestyle event which incorporates
Live Jazz music and a fashion showcase. This event is going to be held every
second month, the vision is to give local jazz artists and fashion designers a
platform to showcase their talents and to contribute to the growth of art in
and around Durban, by merging the two worlds of art into one stage.
The line-up for this coming event includes:
a live performance by Sne Zungu who will be releasing her new single ft
Ringo on March 29 and the fashion showcase by Durban finest Nokwanda Ngcobo
of 8th Wanda, Miles Lutuli of Lutuleigh and Ngcebo Zungu of Kingz Clothing.
Tickets are available at R80 and R100 at
the door. The event takes place from 18h00 to 21h00. The Olympus Club is
situated at 16 Walls Avenue, Greyville, in Durban.
