Youth Orchestra)
The KZN Youth Orchestra will present their
first public concert for the year at Crawford College North Coast on March 15,
2019. The orchestra consists of young talented musicians from all around KZN
province aged between 11 and 18.
Entitled Contrasts, the concert will consist of popular classical music and
some contemporary rock and movie tunes. The programme will include such pieces
as Bach’s Sheep may safely graze,
Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No 5, Nella
Fantasia, Mamma Mia, The Conquest of Paradise, O Fortuna, The Final Countdown
and Havana.
The concert will take place at 18h00 on March
15 in the College Hall at Crawford College North Coast which is situated on
Watson Highway, Tongaat. Tickets R70 (R50 pensioners & students) can be
purchased at the door from 17h00 on the day.
Patrons are encouraged to bring picnics and
