The Westville Theatre Club has announced
auditions for a musical revue to be staged in July 2019. Titled In Times of Love & War – A Musical Revue,
is it co-directed by Shawn O’Neill and Maya Zozulya.
A selection of songs depicting the good
things that arise from bad situations, the underlying message being that the
most beautiful and deepest songs are often borne from unfortunate incidents.
Some things are lost, and others gained, the extremes of which are found in
times of love and war.
Auditions take place at the Westville
Theatre Club, 6 St James Avenue, Westville:
May 5 at 14h00
May 7 at 19h00
May 9 at 19h00
Strong singing voices are required for both
lead vocals and harmonies as well as a narrator. For the band – a guitarist
capable of playing complex lead covers, drums, bass and keyboard.
Rehearsals will take place on Sunday
afternoons from 14h00 to 17h00 the option of Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
dependent on mutually available times by cast.
