KZN Youth Orchestra)
On Friday, May 10, 2019, the KZN Youth
Orchestra will perform a musical collaboration with Thomas More College music
department.
Thomas More’s choirs and marimba bands will
perform a few items and then the KZN Youth Orchestra, conducted by Lyk
Temmingh, will perform some orchestral classics. The concert will finish with
the Thomas More junior primary and senior primary choirs and soloists and
Thomas More orchestra joining the KZN Youth Orchestra for a couple of massed
items.
The concert will start at 18h00 (doors open
at 17h00). Patrons are encouraged to bring food and beverages as the hall will
be set up with tables and chairs a la
Barnyard style so they can enjoy their picnics during the entertainment.
Tickets R70 (R50 pensioners, R40 high
school students and R10 primary school students) will be available at the door
an hour before the concert which will take place in the Thomas More Hall.
