The
Hits, which will run at Rhumbelow Tina’s from June
21 to 23 is a retrospective of the body of work created by the ever-evolving
Black Lapels over the last five years at this venue. From 2014 to 2018, The
Black Lapels have entertained and wowed critics with their one-of-a-kind no-fuss
style performances.
This show is pure dynamite - exploding with
hits from of all the favourite Black Lapels shows. From the early years with
their heart-wrenching tributes to ‘The Man In Black’, Johnny Cash, to the
celebration of swamp blues and rock n’ roll in the much-acclaimed Creedence
Clearwater revival shows.
The Road
to Graceland - a Tribute to Paul Simon show changed the very chemistry
between the members of the Black Lapels reigniting the fire to compose and
perform their very own original works. This combination can only equal one
thing… a night you won’t soon forget!
The
Hits runs from June 21 to 23 (June 22 sold out)
with Friday’s performance at 20h00 and Sunday’s at 14h00. (The theatre venue
opens 60 minutes before show for drinks)
