The KZN Philharmonic, in collaboration with
MIAGI (Music is a Great Investment), will present the National Youth Concert of
Germany in Durban for one concert only – on Woman’s Day (August 9) - at 16h00 in
the Durban City Hall:
Under the baton of Alexander Shelly, the
programme features Walton’s Johannesburg Festival Overture; Hofmeyr’s Three
Sangoma Songs; Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess,
Symphonic Picture for Orchestra and Brahms’ Symphony No 2 in D Major.
