Durban “Bluesman” Rusty Red pays tribute to
Eric Clapton and other blues legends at the Rockwood Theatre at Sibaya this
weekend. The one night only performance on Saturday July 13 2019, promises a
journey through a soundtrack driven by blues icons like Eric Clapton, Muddy
Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, JJ Cale and many more.
The show will highlight Eric Clapton’s
greatest hits from his early days in The Yardbirds to Cream and as a solo
artist, a career that has spanned more than five decades and has earned him a

Eric Clapton drew inspiration from the
likes of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, BB King, Jimi Hendrix among other Blues
legends, and in turn Clapton inspired modern Blues musicians including the
likes of John Mayer. His influence and collaborations have earned him 18 Grammy
Awards, of which our very own Blues craftsmen will showcase your favourites in
this stellar performance.
This not-to-be-missed show will feature
Clapton’s greatest hits including Before
You Accuse Me, Lay Down Sally, Crossroads, Change The World, Wonderful Tonight,
Layla and so many more.
