(Sengsay)
Buoyed by the success of the first
instalment of the Wild Coast Comedy Show,
the second instalment is on its way.
On August 3, 2019, some of KwaZulu-Natal’s
best loved vernac comedians will unleash their special blend of stand-up on
stage at the Wild Coast Sun’s Tropical Nites Theatre. This edition of the Wild Coast Comedy Show features an
entertaining and eclectic mix of comedians including Amawele AseChesterville
(Siphiwe and Simphiwe Vilakazi), XD Black (Xolani Dlamini), Bhabha (S’lindile
Hadebe) and Sengsay (Ndumiso Hlongwane).
The onstage shenanigans will be
complimented by a thumping soundtrack with some talented local DJs on decks. In
the mix are DJ Bunene (Bunene Ngewu) and Da Coda (Delani Msuthu). In the
driver’s seat at the host for the evening is Sifiso Thutshini, best known by
his stage name, Tsoro.
“Promising to be bigger and better than the
last time, the second edition of the Wild
Coast Comedy Show boasts an epic line-up of well-known local comedians as
well as some fresh DJ talent. Laugh and dance the night away with us on the 3rd
of August,” says Mawande Genu, the Wild Coast Sun’s PR and Promotions
Coordinator.
The lively comedy and music event will kick
off at 20h00. No under 18s are permitted. Tickets R100 available at Wild Coast
Sun’s Cash Desk or at Port Edward Spar.
