Find a friend and book to see all these for half price: Cellist with Rabies, The Revlon Girl, Sainthood, Quantitative Teasing, Two to Tango, Kafka’s Ape, Benny Bushwhacker and Spanish Fire.

Details of all these productions can be found on www.hiltonfestival.co.za. In a nutshell:

Cellist with Rabies – excellent drama; funny; edgy; unlike any other love story you could ever dream of!

The Revlon Girl – the story of the Aberfan disaster in Wales, poignantly told through the eyes of four grieving mothers; has won many awards.

Sainthood – a cutting edge story created by a dynamic young company, looking at real issues in an imaginary South African school: bullying, racism, abuse. Don’t miss it if you are a parent, a teacher or a teenager.

Quantitative Teasing – political satire written by SA’s own Mike van Graan and starring the dynamic Daniel Richards. The awards heaped on the heads of these two comic masters are too numerous to mention.

(Right: Kafka's Ape: Tony Miyambo)

Kafka’s Ape performed by Tony Miyambo has won a slew of national and international awards and tells the story of mankind in all its selfish, destructive horror through the eyes of an ape.

Benny Bushwhacker is performed by well-loved performer, Ben Vos. Written by John van de Ruit of Mamba and Spud fame, and directed by Janice Honeyman, this is a must for the whole family. Entertaining, humorous and informative!
