(Left: Nikhil Tricam conducting a class)
Attend specialised art classes hosted by accomplished artists every Saturday
at The KZNSA Gallery.
The next one will take place on August 17, 2019, from 09h00 to 12h00
when Nikhil Tricam will give an illustration class.
Tricam is an artist and architect living in Durban. He is co-director of
NT Design Studio, a multidisciplinary design practice that encompasses
architecture, industrial design and graphic work, and a member of the KUSH art
collective.
His exploration of the city began with urban art and illustration, and
through time has evolved into loose, ink impressions of the city. His work
focuses on the interplay between the static, built context of building and
street and the dynamic, ever-changing forces that give life to the urban realm.
He works in ink, acrylic, graphite and pencil, and has begun exploring
documenting the city through the lens.
Cost R200, materials and refreshments included.
