FILM SCREENING & JAZZ AT PHANSI MUSEUM

Spend your time at Phansi Museum and be part of a vibrant and cultured community...

SEPTEMBER 12, 2019:

Screening
Screening of Bob Roberts on Thursday, September 12, at 17h30.

Phansi Museum is a cultural and intellectual hub, their film screening programme hopes to further their status of being a space for all to gather.

“Millionaire conservative Bob Roberts (Tim Robbins) launches an insurgent campaign against incumbent senator Brickley Paiste (Gore Vidal), firing up crowds at his rallies by singing 60s-style acoustic folk songs with lyrics espousing far-right conservative social and economic views. Investigative journalist Bugs Raplin (Giancarlo Esposito) shadows the Roberts campaign, trying to connect Roberts to a drug-trafficking scheme, but an assassination attempt lays suspicion on both men.”

Thursday Night Jam Session
Hosted by Kgethi Nkotsi, this is a superb way to spend a chilled evening in Durban. If you have yet to experience the musical magic, pop in on a Thursday from 18h00. Each week new artists perform.
