The Loeries Travelling Exhibition is an
inspiring display of the advertising that turned heads and made people take
notice across Africa and the Middle East. It is on view at the Vega School in
Durban from September 23 to 27, 2019.
The Loeries, a non-profit company, is
Africa and the Middle East’s premiere initiative that recognises, rewards,
inspires and fosters creative excellence in the brand communication industry.
As the highest accolade for creativity and innovation across our region, the
Loeries promotes and supports creativity by helping marketers, agencies and
consumers appreciate the value of ideas and fresh thinking.
Culminating in the biggest creative
gathering across the region, Loeries Creative Week brings together the best
innovative minds from our industry for a festival of networking, inspiring
minds and recognising great work.
The Loeries is the only award across Africa
and the Middle East that informs the global WARC Creative 100, a showcase for
the best creative work in the world. Successor to the prestigious Gunn Report,
WARC collates the most important advertising awards from around the world to
produce a global list that ranks the most creative companies and campaigns.
If you are considering studying any aspect
of advertising, design or brand communication, this is an unmissable
opportunity to be influenced by the Loeries 2018 winners and the talent of the
best creative minds from our continent.
“The creative economy offers so much
potential for our economy – the opportunity to employ our talented youth and to
turn their ideas into something valuable, while creating revenue,” says Loeries
CEO, Andrew Human. “I hope this exhibition inspires talented youngsters to
follow their heart and make their passion their career.”
The Loeries Travelling Exhibition runs until
September 27 at the Vega School, The Glades Office Park, 70 Armstrong Avenue, La
Lucia.
