Willing to take a bold risk Drag
Entertainer, Lilly Slaptsilli, has taken almost 22 years to grow a pair as she
makes her stand-up debut in a camp, comical romp entitled I'm Gagging. This production comes to Rhumbelow Theatre Durban from
October to 20, 2019.
With her observational humour and lively
storytelling skills, she presents an unrelenting, ass-flapping evening of
humour. Sitting somewhere between comedy theatre, and performance art. Someone
like Lilly could rise to popularity as a kitschy-comedy-queen/earnest-webcam
model comedy routine that tackles topics like bumming bergies, Uber drivers and
hungry bottoms. The Word on the curb tells us Slaptsilli holds no punches as
she gets loose lipped about dark rooms, insomnia and 1st time flyers.
I’m
Gagging has performances on October 18 and 19 at
20h00 and on October 20 at 14h00. The venue opens 90 minutes before show for
picnic dinner.

be available and food is available to purchase at the venue. There is limited
secure parking and booking is essential. A cash bar is available (no alcohol
may be brought on to the premises). Rhumbelow Durban is situated at 42
Cunningham Road off Bartle Road in Umbilo.
