Two well-known Indian
entertainers, Jaani Punjab and Shay Ramji, take to the stage for A Musical Spectacular at Sibaya. They
will perform to a soundtrack of vibrant music by Dilkash in a one night only
show at the iZulu Theatre on November 16, 2019.
Punjab has won the hearts of many South
Africans with his melodious voice. A student of Ustad Nadeem Khan Sahib, he has
performed internationally and at several shows in South Africa. He has also
worked with a number of playback singers and appeared on the reality TV talent
show, Indian Idols. His recently
released new song Dil Nai Lagda is
currently climbing the music charts in India.
Ramji, popularly known as "Mausi"
took South Africa by storm with her hit cover and video of Mausi Rasoye Halwa. She has also just released a punjabi single Churaliya ve which has been aired on
Glow TV. She has travelled extensively internationally and has performed on the
same platform with artists such as Sonu Nigam, Salim-Suleiman, Neha Kakkar,
Vidya Vox, Benny Dayal, Zee Stars and Sunidhi Chauhan.
