The Dan David Prize is an international initiative, endowed by the Dan
David Foundation and headquartered at Tel Aviv University. Three prizes of US$1,000,000
each are awarded annually in selected fields representing the three time
dimensions - Past, Present and Future. The Dan David Prize is awarded each year
to those who have made groundbreaking discoveries or outstanding contributions
to humanity. The organisation invites nominations of individuals and
organizations that are making a major impact in this year's chosen fields.

Ten percent of the Prize is donated by the laureates as scholarships to
outstanding young researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students, studying
topics related to the chosen fields. Each year, 20 scholarships of US$15,000
are awarded - 10 to scholars from universities all over the world and 10 to
scholars from Tel Aviv University. High-achieving doctoral and postdoctoral
students whose research relates to the fields chosen for this year are invited
to apply for a 2020 Dan David Prize Scholarship.
