Mending the Scars: A
Group Exhibition opens in the Schreiner Gallery at the Tatham Art Gallery in
Pietermaritzburg on December 8, 2019, at 11h00.
This exhibition consists of a variety of mixed media art works. Concerns
about common issues of pain and healing around their families and the broader
environment bring this group of four artists together. Sue Akerman, Phumzile Dlamini,
Corina Lemmer and Annette McMaster all belong to the national Fibre works
group. A common thread in their work is empathy with their subject and with
their home country, South Africa.

The artists will conduct a two day workshop in February 2020.
