The South African Society of Music Teachers
in collaboration with Friends of Music will present the annual Rising Stars concert on December 3,
2019.
The Rising
Stars recitals showcase the cream of the crop of KZN’s up and coming young
performers and this year is no exception with a variety of instrumentalists
including recorder, clarinet, piano and voice.
This year the evening will begin with a cello and piano duo as the "Prelude Performer”.

The eight performers will present their
recitals from a wide range of works right across the various style periods that
include composers such as Frescobaldi, Jacob, Eberl, Turina, Bach, Beethoven,
Debussy, Schonberg, Lerner & Lowe, Faure, Mozart, etc.

Each of these young performers has been
carefully selected as they have shown exceptional talent and promise at various
other events they have performed at through the year.

Jewish Centre, 44 K E Masinga (Old Fort) Road.
