Barry Thomson’s new solo acoustic show
titled Times Like These reflects on
past and present personal experiences. Back by public demand, it will run at
Rhumbelow Tina’s in Kloof from November 15 to 17, 2019.
The show content is largely based on
finding the light in the darkness, finding a peaceful happy place in the midst
of today’s mad world. Songs have been carefully chosen to tell stories which
everyone can relate to … ‘sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the
bug’.
Also featured will be stripped-down
acoustic versions of popular hit songs from The Reals’ tribute shows including
Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, James Taylor, Rodriguez, The Eagles,
Jethro Tull, John Mayer, Jackson Browne and Neil Diamond.
The songs will touch your heart and get
your foot tapping!
Shows take place on November 15 and 16 at
20h00 and on November 17 at 14h00. (The theatre venue opens 60 minutes before
show for drinks)
Tickets R150 (R130 pensioners) and tables
seat 8. (No alcohol or food may be brought on to the premises). Tickets are
