Parklane SUPERSPAR presents the annual
Christmas Concert in the City Hall, Pietermaritzburg on December 5, 2019.
This year's concert will showcase the
Drakensberg Boys Choir who have captivated audiences worldwide. Their Noël programme has featured in sold-out
concerts throughout South Africa.
Their performance locally, titled Christmas, is specifically compiled for
Pietermaritzburg audiences and exploits the splendid acoustics of the
world-renowned Pietermaritzburg City Hall. This end-of-year concert is a
highlight on the choir's calendar. The programme includes carols for the
audience to join in the singing, plus mystic by JS Bach, WA Mozart and seasonal
classics O Holy Night, I Saw Three Ships,
Jingle Bell Swing and Silent Night.
Christopher Duigan makes a guest appearance at the piano in a seasonal
improvisation.

Parklane SUPERSPAR is providing by a
private security company to guard the cars during the concert - the whole City
Hall precinct will be patrolled.
In addition, every patron attending the
concert receives a free souvenir programme, and complimentary water plus mince
pies at interval.
