Pick n Pay Hypermarket Durban North and The Durban Book Fair
invite learners to submit short stories, essays and poems with a South African
theme for publication in a book titled, Mzansi
Tales.
Any South African language may be used. The word count
should not exceed 2,000 and be submitted to RowenaGovender@pnp.co.za before
March 20, 2020.
All submissions should be accompanied by a biography of up
to 50 words and a statement by an adult confirming that it is the author’s
original work.
Prizes will be awarded for submissions assessed by the
editorial committee as most reflective of an Mzansi tale.
The book will be launched on World Book Day, April 23, 2020
at Pick n Pay Hypermarket Durban North and the 2020 Durban Book Fair at
Mitchell Park on April 26, 2020.
