The African Music and Dance Lunch Hour
Concert series runs on March 4, 11, and 18, 2020, at 12h20.
Once again the UKZN School of Arts proudly
presents the African music and dance lunch-hour concert series. Group one
features Nomzamo Ntombelo, Nobuhle Myeni, and Nkosiphile Gasa with assistance
from AMD team on March 4, 2020, at the Howard College Theatre at 12h20.
Don’t miss out on the great experience of
seeing African instruments, different dances and music genres namely Umbholoho,
isicathamiya, traditional, accompanied by Zulu dance and umhlonyane dance. In
addition to creating a harmonic melody rhythm where have Zulu drums, percussion
drums, and umakhweyane.
Group 2 and Group 3 follows on March 11 and
18. Howard College Theatre is situated on the UKZN Howard College campus. For
