Endeavour chronicles the early criminal casebook of the young detective who
grows to be the immortal Inspector Morse. Together with his friend and mentor
Detective Chief Constable Fred Thursday (Roger Allam), Endeavour Morse (Shaun
Evans) investigates a range of crimes in the beautiful university city of
Oxford.
In the opening episode of series 7, Endeavour sees in 1970 at a Venetian
opera, while a grisly murder on an Oxford towpath engages Thursday's intuition.
