PHANSI MUSEUM & COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

Due the presidential enforcement of a COVID-19 lockdown starting midnight, March Thursday 26, Phansi will be closed until further notice.

“However,” the organisers say: “we are Africans and know how to make a plan when disaster hits! Throughout the lockdown, be sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages, as we post in-depth information about artefacts and items in our museum: a virtual museum.

“Learn a bit of isiZulu with our museum manager Phumzile, as we post 'sayings of the week'. We will share uplifting posts about art news, African history, and indigenous knowledge to keep you (and your children) informed and entertained.

During this time, as tours are suspended, any donation is greatly valued. Please find various donation information below. Contact Vanigay at vanigay@phansi.com for more queries
