IGRANDI TENORI WOMEN'S MONTH COMMEMORATION VIRTUAL CONCERT

Kwazi Mhlongo, founder and director of the well-known KZN opera group, I Grandi Tenori, has released the following news:

“With resounding happiness, I Grandi Tenori takes great pleasure to extend this invitation to all classical fans to a live stream of the Women's Month Commemoration Half-Hour Virtual Concert on August 3, 2020. This concert seeks to resuscitate manhood to come out bold and strong enough to play their role in ending violence against women and children. We deepen our swords and use our voices to call upon all men not to keep quiet against these gruesome killing of unarmed and defenceless women and children.”

This half-hour concert will see the performance of famous pieces including but not limited to Core’ngrato, Che'ella mi creda, The Lord’s Prayer, Caro mio ben, Recondita armonia, An ideal song, Nessun dorma and more.

The concert will be available online on August 23 at 16h55 for 17h00 on Facebook.
