September 30 No. 53: Piano Hour: All About The Piano Part 2

Part 2 of this focused presentation details the function of the piano and its ability in creating music, and what makes it all happen. This time Duigan includes a few facts and figures to fill in interesting gaps he didn't cover the previous week and then lots of music to demonstrate the enormous range of possibilities the instrument offers!

October 3 No. 54: In Concert : Aristide Du Plessis (cello)

Duigan’s first livestream guest artist Aristide du Plessis plays a selection of superb classical cello favourites including the popular 'Swan' from 'Carnival of the Animals', 'Ave Maria' - Bach/ Gounod and Duigan’s own piece, Himeville. Aristide du Plessis has been hailed as the country's foremost concert cellist!

October 7 No. 55: Piano Hour : Back To Basics

This Wednesday the session is once again to a wide range of music from around the world and from multiple genres, plus Duigan’s own original pieces and improvisations.

October 10 No. 56: In Concert

A programme that features a popular selection of classical favourites coupled with less well-known items by the same composers. Including Clair de Lune, Chopin 'Waltz Op 18', and Rachmaninoff Preludes!

October 14 No. 57: Piano Hour

PIANO HOUR : What are we listening to? Part 2 is a focused presentation on the form and structure found in much of the music Duigan has been playing! What is a sonata, an impromptu, and a rondo.

October 17 No. 58: In Concert

A brilliant classical selection of Liszt, Schumann, Ravel, Rameau and Beethoven.
