In the intriguing season premiere of this British crime drama, DS Lisa Armstrong is assigned to the case of two missing teenage twins, who have disappeared from their home in Morecambe Bay.
When DS Armstrong is drawn into the search, she is perturbed to realise that she has a personal connection to the case. She is assigned as the Family Liaison Officer, and must deal with the frantic family and manage the police investigation without getting emotionally involved or revealing her own connection to the case. As she seeks justice for the family, DS Armstrong comes to an unsettling conclusion.
Headed by Morven Christie who plays D S Lisa Armstrong, the cast includes Imogen King, Jonas Armstrong, Chanel Cresswell and Taheen Modak. The series is written by Daragh Carville.
